TextTrimmer is a small collection of free, single-purpose text utilities — no accounts, no uploads, no clutter.
Why we built TextTrimmer
Most "free" text tool websites bury a simple function — counting words, changing case, comparing two paragraphs — under sign-up walls, bloated ads, or forms that quietly send your text to a server you know nothing about. We wanted the opposite: type your text, get your answer, done.
TextTrimmer started as a single whitespace-cleaning tool (hence the name) for tidying up text pasted from PDFs and emails, and grew into a small toolkit of the utilities we found ourselves reaching for most often: counting words, converting case, comparing revisions, removing duplicate lines, generating placeholder text and passwords, and reversing text.
How the tools work
Every tool on this site runs entirely as JavaScript in your own browser. When you paste text into a box, that text stays on your device — it is processed locally and is never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. Closing the tab clears everything.
